After making aliyah 5 years ago, Olga has been part of the Israeli investment community and the high-tech ecosystem. Catalyst Investments created the first Israel-China investment fund which supports the growth of innovative Israeli companies expanding in China. Olga played an instrumental role in launching the Fund and is now a leading member of the investment team.
Since moving to Israel, Olga has been mentoring new immigrants (olim), helping them to network and find meaningful work within the high-tech ecosystem.
Before joining Catalyst, Olga was a financial and media analyst at an American start-up based in Israel. Prior to that she worked in the international department of the Israel Antitrust Authority as part of an elite program which enables young Jewish leaders to come to Israel and work with the government. While there, Olga co-authored the OECD report on Israel’s competition policy.
While studying Literature and Modern Languages at the University of Oxford, Olga was actively involved in pro-Israel advocacy. She was President of Oxford’s Jewish Society and co-Founder of the Israel Society. After university, she was a consultant to the Israeli Embassy on fighting academic boycotts on British campuses.
Olga was born in St. Petersburg in Russia. Aged 7, she moved to Berlin in Germany together with her family and completed her high school and university studies in the UK. She currently lives and works in Israel. Olga is fluent in 4 languages and has a strong international background and cross-cultural communication skills.
