Hailing originally from Los Angeles, Diane completed her BA in Political Science at the University of California at San Diego. Shortly thereafter Diane attended IGF and decided to make aliyah. She was a researcher for a Jerusalem based research organization for about two years after moving to Israel, before being recruited by Tamar to come and work for IGF where she served as the Education and Recruitment coordinator for IGF for sessions 5, 6 and 7. While working at the Begin Center she pursued an MA at Hebrew University in Politics and Communications and also participated in a part time Talmud program for women. After finishing her MA she took a marketing position in a seed-stage Jerusalem start-up and had her first exposure to the Israeli high tech scene. But once she got the tech bug, there was no turning back. Today she serves as MarCom Manager at Mobileye – the global leader in autonomous driving technology, and a proud Jerusalem tech company. She got married to Gilad Be’ery in 2014 and they have an 8 month old daughter named Aviv.
